| Many existing corridors within modern
cities can be used as ROW for a RUF system. In mountain areas, the RUF system can make use of its unique ability to negotiate steep grades. Furthermore the wildlife will not be harmed by vehicles running on an elevated guideway unlike cars running on a highway. A very compact solution can be used when running RUF as a subway. Using 3 guideways in one tube makes it possible to save a lot of money and at the same time increase safety compared to a traditional tunnel solution. |
