| RUF is a very slender monorail system which
can find ROW in many places inside existing cities. Highway medians or wide streets are candidates, but sometime it will be possible to use the fast lane of a highway and place the RUF guideway at low level and at minimal cost. Some people object to elevated systems, but I think they can be shaped in such a way that they will be accepted and maybe even loved like the people of Seattle who love their elevated monorail. |
