A network covering most of Los Angeles and Orange County can be created using 100 junctions and 600 miles of bidirectional RUF guideway. The network has been planned so that it is complementary to the existing freeway system.

The cost including public maxi-rufs and stations is estimated to be $10 billion.

The cost of congestion delays in LA every year amounts to $12.4 billion.
